The US Army has a requirement to purchase an excavator to be delivered to Fort Stewart, GA. Required salient characteristics of the excavator are located on pages 3-4 of the attached SF1449 solicitation. In accordance with FAR provision 52.212-4(b)(4), quotation must include a technical description of the item being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. Quoter must input the date by which they could deliver the item in the applicable area on page 4. Quoters must input all required information in provisions on pages 6-40, unless the required information is included in current versions of the provisions within their System for Award Management representations and certifications. Failure to meet any of the above requirements may render a quote ineligible for award. See provision 52.212-2 on page 9 for further explanation of evaluation of quotations. Any questions about the solicitation must be emailed to SSG Dwayne Phelps at Dwayne.a.phelps.mil@army.mil by 4 October 2022. Answers to questions will be posted in an amendment to the solicitation on SAM.gov. Any questions received after 4 October 2022 may not be considered.
