The Land Mobile Radio System’s Towers have a requirement in accordance with TIA- 222-G to be inspected every three years. The Inspection is required to capture any major and minor deficiency with the towers infrastructure which may a major impact on the Land Mobile Radio System; which provide mobile and portable communication toover 4,100 first responder, force protection, range safety, and Department of Emergency Services. Antenna towers that are deem hazard to personnel and air navigation must have proper repairs to make the tower visible and safe. Guyed-wires needs to be inspected for proper tension and damage, failure to maintain these required standards could result in a tower collapsing. failure in the Towers supporting the Land Mobile Radio System will cause Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield to be in a HAZCON state because Emergency Communications will not be 100% reliable, due to equipment failure.
