The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Installation Contracting Office (IOC)- Fort Stewart, Georgia anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price(FFP) Invitation for Bid (IFB) Solicitation to an Indefinite Delivery and Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) single award for Roofing , FS, GA. Solicitation Number W9124M-19-B-0008 will be available for downloading at the FedBizOpps Gov website on or before 30 days; could be earlier/later. A link is provided through FedBizOpps page at www.fbo.gov. Potential Bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the Award Management (sam.gov) per FAR 52.204-7. The Solicitation is 100% set aside for qualifying HUBZone firms under NAICS 238160(Size Standard $15 Million). The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contract performance time is 365 calendar days from receipt of Notice ro proceed. I nformation concerning the HUBZone program can be found at http://www.sba.gov/content/hubzone. MICC- Fort Stewart is operating a paperless contracting file system. A minimum of one copy of each document submitted to the contracting office shall be in an electronic format. Acceptable formats are PDF, DOC(x), XLS(x), TXT, JPG and XPS. All submissions shall include one (1) CD with all required documents and one (1) paper copy of each bid. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 1.1 Work to be Done: The work covered by this contract consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and performing all operations required in connection with Repair/ Replace Roofs, Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, GA, complete in strict accordance with specifications, subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to, the following items: 1.1.1 Provide and install gypsum decking. 1.1.2 Provide and install steel decking. 1.1.3 Provide and install rough carpentry. 1.1.4 Provide and install finish carpentry. 1.1.5 Provide and install roof insulation. 1.1.6 Provide and install strip shingles. 1.1.7 Provide and install built-up roofing. 1.1.8 Provide and install elastomeric roofing (EPDM). 1.1.9 Provide and install modified bitumen roofing. 1.1.10 Provide and install thermoplastic membrane roofing (TPO). 1.1.11 Provide and install polyvinyl chloride (PVC) roofing 1.1.11 Provide and install metal reroofing framing system 1.1.12 Provide and install structural standing seam metal roof 1.1.13 Provide and install sheet metal work. 1.1.14 Provide and install caulking and sealant. 1.1.15 Provide and install gypsum wall board. 1.1.16 Provide and install acoustical ceiling panels. 1.1.17 Provide and install paint. 1.1.18 Provide removal of asbestos roofing. 1.1.19 Provide and install PVC piping. 1.1.20 Provide and install lightning protection system.
