This is a non-personal services contract to provide onsite document destruction. This is a non-personal services contract to provide onsite document destruction. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform secure, onsite document destruction. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 561990 is applicable to this acquisition. The applicable size standard is $12 million. The Government will issue a 100% set-aside for small business Request for Quote (RFQ). Contract award will be made on the basis of best value. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is anticipated. Award criteria will include consideration of price only. Services shall be procured pursuant to the regulatory direction of FAR Part 13.3, Simplified Acquisition Methods. Expected award shall consist of one base period of performance (1 September 2022 through 31 August 2023) and four - one year option periods of performance. There is no guarantee that any option period of performance will be exercised. The RFQ estimated date of issue is 30 June 2022. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered. Pursuant to FAR 4.1102, prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Contractors may obtain further information on SAM registration at the following website: http://www.sam.gov/. This announcement does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
