Amendment 0001 - 2025-12-10 The purpose of this amendment is to post the Government's responses to questions received from industry and to provide the amended Sources Sought Notice (SSN) document. All other information from the original notice below remains in effect unless otherwise specified in the amended documents. *** ORIGINAL BELOW *** The Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Fort Sam Houston (MICC-FSH) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice (SSN), Synopsis W9124J-26-R-PINS, for market research on behalf of the Installation Management Command (IMCOM) G1. We are identifying sources capable of providing the U.S. Army Retired Lapel Pin, as specified in AR 600-8-22, para 6-19e, and the associated services for its quarterly distribution to 59+ Army installations, which also includes developing a tracking system and providing reports. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). A MANDATORY QUALIFICATION exists: sources must be certified by The Army Institute of Heraldry (TIOH) or be an authorized distributor for a TIOH-certified manufacturer per AR 600-8-22 and AR 840-10. Respondents must provide proof of this certification with their capability statement. The Government will use responses to determine the acquisition strategy, including potential small business set-asides.
