The IMCOM, G-9, Army Community Service (ACS), has an ongoing mission requirement to provide temporary rest periods for Family members responsible for the regular care of persons with severe disabilities or diagnoses. In accordance with Department of Defense Instruction 1342.22, Military Family Readiness, Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) Respite Care may be provided as part of the overall EFMP. This requirement will provide a network of EFMP Respite Care Providers who will provide Respite Care Services, including temporary rest periods for Family members responsible for regular care of persons with disabilities.
