The IMCOM, G-9, Army Community Service (ACS), has an ongoing mission requirement to provide temporary rest periods for Family members responsible for regular care of persons with severe disabilities or diagnoses. In accordance with DoDI 1342.22, Military Family Readiness, EFMP Respite Care (RC) may be provided as part of the overall Exceptional Family Member Program. This requirement will provide a network of Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) Respite Care Providers (RCPs) who will provide Respite Care Services, including temporary rest periods for Family members responsible for regular care of persons with disabilities. The current contract, W9124J-19-C-0031, expires on 28 September 2024 and there is a need for continuation of services with the incumbent while the Government continues work on procuring a new, long-term follow-on contract.
