The 323d Army Band currently has three ceremonial drums that need major repair and updates. The bodies of the drums are intact and should not be replaced, however part replacement and artwork updates will satisfy the TUSAB requirements. The 323d Army Band also requires the construction of four additional drums, two snares and two bass drums, as described in 1.4.1, and the necessary accoutrements needed for proper storage (i.e., drum cases) and funeral details, appropriate for the ongoing mission of the 323d Army Band.
