The Army Medical Department Center of History and Heritage (ACHH), Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) is responsible for conducting oral interviews as part of Department of the Army (DA) directed programs outlined in Army Regulation 870-5 (AR 870-5). These Oral Histories (OH) are biographical and topic specific in nature. Interviews recorded are onto audio tape or into digital files. Interviews can be audio or video in origin. Transcriptions are the initial step in the process of preparing final interview transcripts for dissemination to the Army as directed by the Department of the Army.
