The proposed sole source, Firm Fxed Price (FFP) contract scheduled to be awarded to Nations Advanced Communication & Cabling, Inc. dba Advanced Communications & Cabling is for software, service, and support services on the Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) Nurse Call System already in place. BAMC owns a Nurse Call system comprised of two sub systems (Rauland Borg R5 and Connexall Middleware). Rauland Borg R5 is our in-patient nurse call system that supports urgent and emergent alerts and messages that route through our Connexall middleware platform, which routes calls to various communication systems alerting staff of many types of patient alerts ranging from Routine to Emergent. Both systems are interdependent on each other to support inpatient messaging to support staff.
