The Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Fort Sam Houston (MICC-FSH) Contracting Office has a sole source requirement on behalf of Army Futures Command (AFC) for Convention and Trade Show Organizer services provide by South By Southwest (SXSW), LLC., for event planning, execution, and post-event analysis at the South West Conference and Festival, with an emphasis on maximizing the Army's visibility and impact during the event. SXSW Conference and Festival is the only Austin-based event that satisfies the Army’s requirements. The services provided by SXSW, LLC., shall include but are not limited to: Event programming and planning Procurement of venue spacing Exhibition space management Setting up audio-visual systems and stage support Marketing and promotional activities Capturing and producing videos, media coverage Regulatory compliance Coordination of at least (2) presentation sessions per day at prime event locations Video recording and social media amplification Registration/credentialing Please refer to the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for additional details. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.

The Government made the award of W9124J-22-C-0018 on 30 June 2022 and fiscal year 2022 Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) funds were used. This action is a bridge to contract W911SG21C0005 awarded on 31 March 21 and ended on 30 June 2022. The previous bridge was awarded to provide continuity of services while the competitive task order was competed among the Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (MA-IDIQ) contract holders of the Support Base Services (SBS) contract vehicle. Task Order W9124J-22-F-0053 was issued against W9124J-20-D-0021 on 1 April 2022. A post award protest was received at the Government Accountability Office (GAO) on 19 April 2022 that included an automatic stay of performance. A stop work order was issued to the awardee of W9124J-22-F- 0053, Beshenich, Muir & Associates, LLC (BMA), on 21 April 2022.
