This requirement is for a non-personal services contract to provide grounds maintenance services to Fort Rucker, Alabama. The contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, and labor necessary to service, maintain, and inspect all High Visibility (Improved Grounds), Common Areas (Semi-Improved Grounds) and Unimproved Grounds at Fort Rucker, AL. The work shall include scheduling and performance of mowing, edging, and trimming, leaf and debris removal, policing of areas, shrub, bush, and tree pruning, fertilizer, lime, and herbicide application, and special event grass cutting. This is a fixed priced, performance based service contract where the government defines and measures desired outcomes, while contractor methods are generally not constrained or directed. The Period of Performance for this effort includes a 30 day phase-in period, one month special cutting period, and 10 month base period plus four option year periods. 30 Day Phase-In: 1 January 2021 – 31 January 2021 Special Cutting: 1 February 2021 – 28 February 2021 10 Month Base Year: 1 March 2021 – 31 December 2022 Option Year 1: 1 January 2022 – 31 December 2022 Option Year 2: 1 January 2023 – 31 December 2023 Option Year 3: 1 January 2024 – 31 December 2024 Option Year 4: 1 January 2025 – 31 December 2025
