Description The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Polk is issuing a PRE?SOLICITATION NOTICE for a Request for Quote (RFQ) with intent to award a firm fixed price 100% Small Business set-aside contract to provide Unaccompanied Personal Housing (UPH) Washer and Dryer Movement, Maintenance/Repair Services to approximately 968 Government owed machines. Resident Soldiers in Fort Polk’s barracks rely on washer and dryer service to sustain their quality of life. During the past year approximately 3,000 Demand Maintenance Orders (DMO) were submitted on the machines. A listing of machines with locations and other documentation will be provided with the posting of the Solicitation. The contract Period of Performance (POP) will be for a One (1) Base Year period of 12 months approximately 15 June 2021 through 14 June 2022 and Four (4) 12-month Option periods, if exercised, ending approximately 14 June 2026. The applicable NAICS is 811412, Appliance Repair & Maintenance (Size Standard $16.5 million) and PSC is J072, Maintenance/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment-Household Commercial Furnishings and Appliances. The tentative dates for issuing the solicitation is 14 May 2021 with closing of tentatively 28 May 2021. The solicitation and any amendments will be posted and available for review through the Government wide Point of Entry Beta Sam (https://beta.SAM.gov/) as no paper copies will be issued. Submission of quotes will be accepted via Beta Sam however Faxes are NOT authorized. Electronic mailed quotes are acceptable. Interested parties should review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to this notice. Additionally interested parties are encouraged to review their Duns & Bradstreet number, Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE code), ensure registration is complete and up to date in the System for Award Management (SAM) and ensure that certifications and representations are entered at https://www.sam.gov. This PRE?SOLICITATION NOTICE does not obligate the Government to a contract award.
