The purpose of this amendment is to correct the quantity for CLIN 0001, CLIN 1001. CLIN 2001, CLIN 3001, and CLIN 4001 from 3,800 to 6,200 Days, which was initially posted via Federal Business Opportunities on 10 July 2019 (Reference Attachment Solicitation IFB No.W9124E19B0001 - Rental of Reefer Truck.) 2. Requiring 45 trucks within 24 hours is unreasonable due to the location of Fort Polk? All other terms and condition remain unchanged. --------------------End of Changes------------------- MISSION AND INSTALLATION CONTRACTING COMMAND (MICC) - FORT POLK has a requirement from the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) for rental of refrigeration truck. This is a rental supply contract to provide rental of refrigeration truck to rotational units and Fort Polk military units on training at JRTC Fort Polk, Louisiana (LA). Supplies include, but are not limited to, all labor, materials, maintenance, and equipment required for rental, delivery, and pick-up of diesel-powered automatic transmission 20 feet long refrigeration trucks to Fort Polk, LA. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W9124E19B0001 is issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bidders shall follow bid submission instruction in accordance with the attached Invitation for Bids. This is not a solicitation for purchasing refrigerated trucks. A bid which requires the Government to execute a separate agreement with a third party (broker) shall be deemed technically unacceptable and rejected. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for small business. The Government intends to award a single requirement contract. The period of performance for the base year is 1 August 2019 to 31 July 2020 with four (4) one-year option periods. All prospective bidders must have a Commerical and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. All bidders questions shall be e-mailed to the below points of contact for this acquisition no later than 15 July 2019 at 11:00 AM CST.
