NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Polk, LA intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Sunbelt Rentals Inc. of Fort Mill, South Carolina for Rotational Life Support Services (RLSS). This is for a six (6) month period of performance from 21 December 2022 – 20 June 2023. The sole source determination is based on the critical need for continued services until the re-solicitation can be completed. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available. However, firms that believe they can provide equipment that fully meets the Government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact. A determination by the Government not to conduct a competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
