NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Fort Knox intents to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to SCN Worldwide, doing business as Scantron, for the acquisition of seventy-one ScanTools Prisma software licenses, one iNSIGHT 700c scanner, and one Flex Stacker. This sole source award is in accordance with (IAW) 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by way of the procedures outline in FAR Part 13. This sole source award is authorized under FAR subpart 13.106-1(b)(1) - only one source is reasonably available. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES OR PROPOSALS. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to provide the requested supplies to adam.p.buchert.civ@army.mil. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored. A determination by the Government whether or not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This requirement will be solicited sole source to SCN Worldwide on or around 21 August 2025, with award anticipated on or around 02 September 2025. This synopsis is being issued less than fifteen days prior to the issuance of a solicitation IAW procedures found in FAR 5.203(a)(1) and 12.204(b).
