Solicitation Number: W9124D-25-Q-A024 Notice Type: Pre-solicitation Synopsis: The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Knox intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to provide boxed meals for applicants processing through the Baltimore Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS), located at 850 Chisholm Ave. Fort Meade, MD 20755.The period of performance is 1 July 2025, or date of contract award, whichever is later, through 30 June 2026, with two one-year option periods. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS 722310 (Size Standard: $47 Million) applies to this procurement. The Baltimore MEPS is located on a military installation. In accordance with AR 40-657, contractors delivering and serving food on a military installation must pass a Veterinary Service Food Protection Audit to be a sanitarily approved source. The apparent successful offeror shall furnish products from an approved food preparation facility. The approval shall be obtained prior to contract award. Food establishments located on the military installation are inspected locally by veterinary inspection personnel. The apparent successful offeror shall coordinate their request to schedule an audit or obtain local approval of the food preparation facility with the MICC - Knox. Failure to obtain approval will render the apparent successful offeror ineligible for award. The RFQ will be posted to the SAM.gov website on or about 20th February 2025 with quotes due on or about 10th March 2025. These dates are subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted on this website. Vendors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award of a contract. Faxed quotes or amendments will not be accepted.
