The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center - Fort Knox shall be issuing a solicitation for the following: A single award requirements type contract for services, supervision, and labor to perform contingency casualty support functions at Fort Knox, Kentucky for Army Human Resources Command (HRC), Casualty and Mortuary Affairs Operations Center's (CMAOC). The mission of the Army CMAOD is to assist and support Army Families in an emotionally stressful time of bereavement, as well as provide training and resources to all Soldiers serving in Casualty Assistance, Notification, and Army Representative capacities, and those dedicated professionals assisting Army Family members in their time of greatest need. These critical services must be conducted in a timely manner. The casualty administrative support services required include support for the following six key functional areas: Notifications, Casualty Support and Executive Correspondence, Initial Case Management (ICM), Transitions, Funeral Claims and Past Conflict Repatriation Branch (PCRB) Support. Contractor work and responsibility shall include all contractor planning, programming, administration, management, supervision, and execution necessary to provide specified services. The contractor shall acquire and maintain accurate and complete records, files, and libraries of documents to include federal, state, and local regulations, codes, and laws, which are necessary and related to functions being performed. The acquisition is anticipated to be for a twelve-month base period (includes a 30-day phase-in period) and four, one-year option periods. This requirement is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside, NAICS 524292, with a size standard of $35M, applies to this requirement. The solicitation will be posted on www.sam.gov around 14 February 2022 with proposals due around 16 March 2022. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to this website. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
