The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Knox intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to procure laundry, dry cleaing, and alteration/repair services for the Mobile County Public School District JROTC to include 11 different schools in the district. The NAICS code is 812320 with a Small Busines size standard of $6M. The RFQ will be posted to the Beta.Sam website at https://beta.sam.gov on or about 1 September 2020. This date is subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation will likewise be posted to the Beta.Sam website. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments. Faxed offers and amendments will not be accepted. Solicitation mailing lists will not be compiled. The solicitation and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. This requirement will be solicited to small businesses. All responsible and responsive small businesses may submit an offer for consideration. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award of a contract. CCR is not obsolete. Offerors shall ensure SAM registration is active and shall not assume that CCR information automatically migrated to the SAM system. The official SAM website is https://www.sam.gov. Contractors are encouraged to complete SAM registration as soon as possible; the government may not delay award for the purpose of allowing a contractor time to register in SAM.
