This RFQ will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website at https://beta.sam.gov on or about 11 December 2019. The solicitation may be downloaded from this website. Contractors shall be registered in the System for Award management (SAM) to be eligible for award of a contract. Contractors shall ensure SAM registration is active. All amendments to the solicitation will be posted to the https://beta.sam.gov website. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. Paper copies of the Solicitation will not be available. Solicitation, “Solicitation GCM Lodging”, must be downloaded at the above listed website, complete CLINS 0001-0004, and blocks 30, b., and c., signed. No remarks or written responses to questions by government personnel shall change or qualify any of the terms or conditions of this solicitation. The solicitation can only be changed by a formal written amendment issued by MICC. Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish facilities, furniture, equipment, supplies, management, supervision, and labor to provide lodging for US Army Cadet Command (USACC) to Kansas City, MO area from 09-13 Feb 2020. The contractor shall provide lodging to support 310 Cadets attending George C. Marshall Leadership and Awards Seminar at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas City, MO from 9-13 Feb 2020. The contractor shall provide dinner meals to support 350 personnel (310 Cadets and 40 staff personnel), from 9-12 Feb 2020. The scope of work also includes in –house dedicated dining space for 310 Cadets and additional 40 Personnel and guests, totaling 350 personnel, for dinner from 9-12 Feb 2019 and breakfast from 10-13 Feb 2019 for 310 personnel. Provide breakfast meals, cost should be included with the room charge, for 310 personnel from 09-13 Feb 2020. Provide a total of 155 double rooms at the prevailing per diem rate or less in accordance with per diem thresholds found at: http://www.defensetravel.dod.mil/pdcgi/pd-rates/cpdratesx.cgi The event’s main body, 310 Cadets, will arrive on 9 Feb 2020 for check-in and check-out on 13 Feb 2020. The contractor shall provide services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) attached. The facility shall be located within approximately 25 miles of the main entrance to Fort Leavenworth Army Base, KS, and approximately 1-10 miles from Kansas City International Airport, MO. Facility shall be also approximately 3 miles to the Kansas City Expo Center. The contractor shall provide a dedicated in-processing conference size room, no smaller than 1,200 square feet and no larger than 6,500 square feet conference room. Hotel shall have a minimum three star rating. Rooms at the primary and partner lodging facilities for the main body shall be ready for issuance no later than 3:00 p.m. on 9 Feb 2020. The Cadets will depart at the primary check-out date (13 Feb 2020).
