The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at the contractor’s facility on the Delaware River. The contractor location shall be with 60 miles or no more than 1.5 hours of drive time from Orange County, New York, to maximize training time and to reduce transportation time and costs. The contractor shall provide rafts, canoes & life jackets and certified instructors and supervisors to perform training to JROTC cadets during the JCLC rafting session held on 28 June 2022. JCLC Adventure North requires that a rafting / canoe adventure experience be available to 320 cadets & 25 cadre during this time period for one day of training. Each cadet will be able to use the rafts for a full day (approx. 6 hrs). Sufficient rafts & safety equipment must be available and provided by the contractor in support of the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge. Emergency medical capability must be present, and communications must exist to seek medical evacuation if necessary. Facilities must be self-contained so as to provide on-site training.
