The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Knox, KY intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to procure laundry, dry cleaning, and alterations services for the Birmingham City Schools JROTC Progam. The RFQ will be posted to the BetaSAM website at https://beta.sam.gov on or about 10 May 2021. This date is subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation will likewise be posted to the BetaSAM website. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments. Faxed offers and amendments will not be accepted. Solicitation mailing lists will not be compiled. The solicitation and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. This requirement is expected to be solicited to Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) entities only. All responsible and eligible WOSB businesses may submit an offer for consideration. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award of a contract. Prospective contractors shall be registered with the WOSB Registry to be eligible for award of a contract. CCR is now obsolete. Offerors shall ensure SAM registration is active and shall not assume that CCR information automatically migrated to the SAM system. Contractors are encouraged to complete SAM registration as soon as possible; the government may not delay award for the purpose of allowing a contractor time to register in SAM. All offers shall be submitted no later than the date and time specified for receipt in the official RFQ.
