The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential HUBZone, Small Businesses and Service-Disabled Veteran Sources, Small Disadvantaged Businesses 8(a), Women Owned Businesses or large business interest in the Greater Columbia, SC region. Contractor's status will be verified through SAM and SBA. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The MICC-Fort Jackson may issue a solicitation and award of a contract for “Fort Jackson Thermwood Table Repair Services,” subject to availability of funds. The MICC-Fort Jackson is seeking qualified, experienced and capable sources with certified and authorized technicians who possess the skills, training, and technical know-how of performing Fort Jackson Thermwood Table Repair Services. It appears the utility software for this type of Thermwood CNC Router table is proprietary and written in a proprietary programming language, which leads to only one contractor, Thermwood Corporation, who is considered the only source who can meet the needs of repairing and sustaining the Thermwood table. Full details are provided in the attached performance work statement. The place of performance is the Fort Jackson South Carolina 29207.
