The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Jackson has a requirement to procure Solid Waste Management (Refuse) services for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) at Fort Jackson, SC. This will be a non-personal services contract to provide a comprehensive approach to managing non-hazardous solid waste that encompasses green procurement, waste prevention, and disposal programs. The Contractor, partnering with the installation, shall determine and utilize the most cost effective Recycle and Solid Waste Management services, emphasizing innovation and commercial best practices, to maximize diversion. The Contractor shall dispose of all commercial, industrial, and community activity waste in accordance with (IAW) all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. The waste shall be disposed of at a Subtitle āDā Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) landfill located in the State of South Carolina and approved and fully permitted by the Department of Environmental Management. The Contractor shall pay all applicable fees associated with disposal. It is anticipated that this requirement will be awarded as a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The anticipated period of performance will be 7 Mar 2021 to 6 Mar 2026, resulting in a one (1) year base and four (4) year option periods. The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 562111, Solid Waste Collection with a size standard of $41.5M.
