Description: The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Jackson has a requirement to procure the purchase and delivery of bagged ice as well as leased self-service ice storage lockers for various training units and other activities located on Fort Jackson, South Carolina. The bagged ice shall only be 16 pound bagged ice. The ice shall only be the cubed type. The 16 pound bags of ice shall be delivered on pallets and shrink wrapped. The ice storage lockers (freezers) should be lockable, 110V with 8 ft. power cord. The freezer must be electric 5 ft. high x 8 ft. long, 4 ft. wide, and capable of holding at least 60 16lb bags of crushed ice. Solicitation W9124C-24-R-0015 will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) using the procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13. It is anticipated that this requirement will be awarded as a fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The anticipated period of performance will be 14 May 2024 to 13 February 2029, resulting in one (nine) 9 month ordering period and four (4) twelve (12) month ordering periods. The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 312113, Ice Manufacturing with a size standard of 750 employees. This procurement will be competitively procured utilizing Small Busines Set-aside. The RFP will be available electronically at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 1 March 2024. Proposals will be due no earlier than 20 days after the RFP becomes available.
