Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Huachuca Division is conducting nationwide market research to determine the availability and capability of companies to conduct refuse collection and disposal services at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, ZIP Code 85613. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought notice or any follow up information requests. ACC-APG, Huachuca Division's determination on how to compete the proposed requirement will be based on responses to this notice and is at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. Work consists of providing all the equipment, personnel, supplies, supervision and managerial support to perform the refuse collection mission on Fort Huachuca, AZ. Work currently consists of providing and servicing approximately 256 dumpsters (8 cubic yard front load), 8 roll-off containers (20 and 30 cubic yard) and 14 individual trash can locations (35-50 gallon). Proposed contract will include disposing of activated sludge at a Regional Landfill on a reimbursable basis and disposal of solid waste at a local landfill covered under a separate Government contract with the provider. NOTE: 11 bear resistant dumpsters will be provided by the Government. Work is across the entire cantonment area of Fort Huachuca and in select remote locations on the installation. No work off the installation or U.S./Mexico Border Support projected at this time. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) is under revision at this time and is not included with this Sources Sought Notice. Incumbent contract number is W9124A-14-D-0009 and will be extended as required by the Contracting Officer. Incumbent contract and projected contract awardee will be a Small Business Administration (SBA) certified Small Business, due to continued success and cost savings with this program. Work will be performed under this projected firm fixed-price contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 562111, Waste Management and Remediation Services, Solid Waste Collection, with a small business size standard of $38.5 million.
