The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Bragg (MICC-FB) has a requirement from 1SWTG to procure a continual delivery of bagged ice to Camp Mackall, NC in order to support ARSOF training pipelines. Ice will be used primarily to mitigate training heat casualties due to rigorous training in high temperature environments. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Additionally, the Government will utilize simplified procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) with solicitation number W9124721TSW10. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 312113, “Ice Manufacturing”, and the business size standard is 750 employees. ANY SUPPLIER QUOTING MUST BE THE MANUFACTURER OF THE ICE THEY SELL, DISTRIBUTE, ETC. TO BE CONSIDERED. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide 650 bags of ice Bi weekly during summer training months (MAY-OCT) and monthly during winter months (NOV-MAY). Ice must be made from an approved source and chlorine residual monitoring must be conducted. Contractor shall perform in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions of the contract and consistently with the established standards in this PWS and contract. SEE ATTACHED PWS. Delivery Information: FOB Destination Period of Performance: Base Year - May 2021 through April 2022 Option Year 1 - May 2022 through April 2023. Location: Delivery is Camp Mackall, North Carolina.
