Q&A: Q&As not reflected in the updated PWS: Q: Regarding 5.1.10 Phlebotomy Service for Occupational Health events: what might the "etc." entail? A: Possibly heavy metals but I have not had to do these in the past. Wanted to include in the event there are findings of exposure in the workplace that would then require additional labs be monitored. Q: Regarding which test group the technician needs: Will the technicians be put into the Occ Health module by a NCARNG Occ Health nurse, or will contractor be responsible to do that? If contractor is responsible, how much prior to event will we know their applicable test group. A: The Gov't is not requiring the ktr to have CAC's, access to govt computers, or to input data into the Occ Health Module input. Q: Will the four separate locations be done on four separate dates? A: Yes - however will be done on consecutive days (example - Mon thru Wed in Salisbury; Thurs-Fri, Mon in Ft Bragg; Tues in Kinston; Wed until completion in Raleigh) Q: Confirm no dental is needed. - NO DENTAL NEEDED A: Correct Q: For the submission, are you simply looking for a price, or do you need any technical info and past performance? A: See solicitation; P- 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Addendum to 52.212-1: Offerors shall submit technical proposal, to identify the proposed approach to accomplish the events in accordance with the PWS. Offerors may submit past performance information. Q: Regarding phlebotomy services at 5.1.10, l. (Alk PO4, and the others...): do these labs belong with the BloodLead/ZPP tests for the approximate 15%, along with m., or are they a part of the tests for the 95% receiving Chemistry panel/CBC/Urinalysis? A: This will belong with the 95% receiving chem panel/CBC/urinalysis Q: Will NC allow a licensed physician (NP, APRN/NP, or MD) to complete the physical exam on-site while having a board eligible or certified Occupational Medicine Physician complete the post-event interpretation/summaries/clearances? A: Yes - we will allow a licensed provider (NP, PA, MD) and have the Occ Med MD review
