This device aides in... The NCARNG owns 20 Rad Eye Personal Radiation Detectors (PRDs). PRDs are used to detect for and measure Absorbed Dose, Equivalent Dose, Effective Dose, and Dose Rate of radiation. This device aides in the calculation of Dose Limits for an individual working in radioactive hazard area. RadEye PRD’s require an annual calibration, servicing and have the potential need for repairs to remain operable. The objective of this acquisition is to have each of the 20 devices calibrated, serviced, and repaired as needed. The devices will be serviced at the contractor's location.
