This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number: W91242-19-Q-5024 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-02. This acquisition is issued as a small business set-aside. The NAICS code specified for this requirement is 337215, with size standard of 500 employees. "Buy American" applies, see clauses below. Contract Line Item Numbers: •· 0001 - High Density Mobile Shelving System Description of requirement: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, delivery, and labor necessary to install a high density mobile shelving system. The area available is 20' x 8'. Location has a cement floor with a ceiling height of 8.5'. Location for delivery/install is on the ground floor with no stairs required. From street to exterior door is approximately 20ft, from exterior door to location of setup is another 20ft. Exterior door is a double door, standard dimensions. Minimum requirements: •· Single sided fixed carriage, Qty. 1, max dimensions 95.25"H x 15"D x 7.5' long Single sided mobile carriage, Qty. 1, max dimensions 95.25"H x 15"D x 7.5' long •· Double sided mobile carriage, Qty. 5, max dimensions 95.25"H x 30"D x 7.5' long System will have locking capabilities. Push button lock with keys (overall system length including the mechanical assist handle and any space required between the unit and the wall is 8'6" maximum) Modular floor with ramp and rail. Vinyl convering. •· Overall footprint will be between 19' and 20' wide •· Six (6) opening per carriage, adjustable shelves, closed uprights on end of carriages. •· Mechanical Assist on the mobile carriages. Minimum load capacity of 500 lbs. per linear foot All shelves, sides, tops, and backs of carriages will be made of metal and enclosed as to not allow small items to fall through (no wire shelving). Delivery address is 4930 Minuteman Way, Charlotte, NC 28208. FOB Destination. Deliver/install within 90 calendar days of contract award. Site Visit will be held 13 June 2019 at 10:00am EST. Evaluation - Award shall be made to the vendor based on lowest priced technically acceptable. Technical acceptability is achieved by meeting all of the stated minimum requirements listed above. The Government shall also evaluate price for reasonableness. The Government advises offerors to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer.
