USACE Sacramento District anticipates a design-bid-build, firm-fixed-price construction requirement for erosion control and levee strengthening along the north bank of the Lower American River in Sacramento, CA, primarily at Sites 3-1 and 4-2 from Howe Avenue upstream to near Harrington Way. The work includes excavation, material placement, embankment regrading, soil-filled rock slope protection, launchable rock toes/trenches, planting benches with instream woody material, riprap, tie-ins to existing revetment, and temporary stabilization, with in-water work limited to July–October. The estimated target price range is $45,000,000–$60,000,000, and construction is estimated at 480 calendar days from Notice to Proceed, with field work anticipated in late Spring–Fall 2027 and in 2028.
