USACE SPK Hill Air Force Base Plating Shop Renovation SATOC
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, intends to award a Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) for the renovation, modernization, and phased replacement of plating shop facilities at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB), Utah. The contract will have a five-year ordering period, with individual task orders ranging from $2,500 to $40 million and a total SATOC capacity of approximately $114 million. Work includes demolition, installation of new electroplating and surface treatment lines, mechanical and electrical upgrades, and construction of a 2,800-square-foot metal building, all while maintaining continuous mission operations. The procurement will use best-value tradeoff procedures, with evaluation factors including past performance, technical approach, schedule, and small business participation goals. Performance will occur at HAFB, Utah, with the solicitation anticipated for release in March 2026.
