The Government anticipates issuing an Request for Quote (RFQ) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order for the installation of insulation at USFS, IFG office in Placerville, CA . Project Description: The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, material, equipment and operating personnel to install new insulation material in the attic space of the Administrative Building within the Institute of Forest Genetics (IFG) located at Placerville, California. This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 238310 (Drywall and Installation Contractors). The size standard is $19,000,000. Product Service Code is Z2JZ – Repair of Miscellaneous Buildings . The solicitation will proceed as a total small business set-aside and is estimated to be issued on or about December 20, 2023 with quotes due tentatively on January 22, 2024. The RFQ will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as www.SAM.gov and will establish a firm quote due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation.
