Schafer Dam – Success Lake Oxidation Ponds Rehabilitation The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Evaporation Ponds Rehabilitation services to be provided for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, Schafer Dam - Success Lake, Porterville, California. Project Description: This requirement is for the installation of two, High-Density Polyethylene liners and puncture prevention liners in existing ponds. The ponds will not be connected to any storm water drainage. The ponds collect black water and evaporate the water through solar radiation. Presently, there are two ponds that do not have liners. The liners are laid into the pond and bonded together to prevent any black water from seeping into the ground. The pond dimensions are: 200’x205’x8’ and 150’x200’x8’. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform all services at 29330 Highway 190, Porterville, CA 93258. This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 562991 – Septic Tank and Related Services. The size standard $2,250,000.00. Product Service Code is Z1ND (Maintenance of Sewage and Waste Facilities) The solicitation will proceed as a 100% small business set-aside and is estimated to be issued on or about September 1, 2023 with quotes due tentatively on September 22, 2023. The RFQ will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as www.SAM.gov and will establish a firm quote due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation. BE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE PRE-SOLICITATION, SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS.
