The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ), W9123823Q0055, with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order for plant propagation with a period of performance of one year. Project Description: This is a contract to acquire mitigation plantings for impacts to habitat arising from the American River Common Features (ARCF) 2016 Lower American River Contracts. The major work elements include providing container plants, plant delivery, and maintaining plants at the contractor’s nursery. Maintenance tasks include watering, weeding, and maintaining overall seedling health to foster proper development. Plants must be grown specifically for this contract and may not be plants that are already in stock at a nursery. Approximately 14,000 plants of various species will be grown as a result of this contract. This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 111421 - Nursery and Tree Production; which has a size standard of $3.25 million. Product Service Code is F009 - Natural Resources/conservation - Seed Collection/production. The solicitation will proceed as a total Small Business set-aside and is estimated to be issued on or about July 14, 2023, with quotes due tentatively on August 15, 2023. The RFQ will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as www.SAM.gov and will establish a firm quote due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation.
