Project Description: Installation of concrete pad and all required infrastructure and conduit pathway for PG&E transformer, removal and replacement of 17, concrete spun telephone poles, installation of one, 400-amp panel; two, 100-amp breakers; and five fusible disconnects with fuses. Old poles and associated debris to be disposed of offsite. System power-up and voltage verification. This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Mantenance. The size standard is $12,500,000.00. The Product Service Code (PSC) J061 Maintenance/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment. The solicitation will proceed with Full and Open Competition and is estimated to be issued on or about 30 August 2023 with quotes due tentatively on 20 September 2023. The RFQ will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as www.SAM.gov and will establish a firm quote due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation. BE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE PRE-SOLICITATION, SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with MX Construction under the authority of FAR 19.1506 - Women-Owned Small Business Program sole-source awards. A sole source justification for the Pine Flat Dam & Lake Campground Electrical Utilities Upgrade Services, Island Park Campground has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Firms believing, they can provide these supplies or services above must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer with supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements.
