The Contractor shall perform improvements to repair the portion of the North Apron immediately North of Hangar 204 at Hill Air Force Base in Davis County, Utah. The work shall consist of replacement of existing Portland cement concrete (PCC) slabs along with full rework of structural base materials as required for seasonal frost conditions, all in accordance with current UFC standards. Work also includes providing grounding points and pavement markings on new apron pavement and replacement of adjacent existing PCC swale and adjacent asphalt pavement. The demolition includes but not limited to removal of existing apron PCC slabs, adjacent PCC drainage swale and the 5 foot wide strip of Asphalt adjacent to the swale. Any asbestos/LBP removal shall be accomplished by a certified asbestos/LBP removal contractor. **This will be a DBB contract.**

Project Description: The Contractor shall perform improvements to repair the portion of the North Apron immediately North of Hangar 204 at Hill Air Force Base in Davis County, Utah. The NAICS Code is 238110 Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors and the size standard is $16.5 Million. The Product Service Code is Z2BD Repair or Altercation of Airport Runways. The solicitation will proceed as a total small business set aside. Solicitation is tentatively scheduled on or around 17 January 2022 with proposals due tentatively on or around 16 February 2022. The RFP will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as Sam.gov at which time the Government will establish a firm proposal due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation. BE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE PRE-SOLICITATION, SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS.
