The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District (SPK), Sacramento, CA 95814 intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price, Sole Source, Contract to CARACAL ENTERPRISES LLC, 1260 Holm Road, Suite A, Petaluma, CA 94954 for all labor, equipment, materials and oversight necessary to provide VenTek equipment services at USACE Parks and Dams. This contract will include the following: The Contractor shall provide venMobile software, cellular connectivity, and PCI compliance for all venMobile (handhelds), as well as a venVue subscription, cellular connectivity, server hosting, PCI compliance, and an extended warranty for all automated fee machines at the following locations: New Hogan Dam and Lake, Calaveras County, Valley Springs, CA. Black Butte Dam and Lake, Tehama County, Orland, CA Pine Flat Dam and Lake, Fresno County, Piedra, CA R.L. Shafer Dam/Success Lake, Tulare County, Porterville, CA. Hidden Dam/Hensley Lake, Madera County, Raymond, CA. Terminus Dam/Lake Kaweah, Tulare County, Lemon Cove, CA. Buchannan Dam/Eastman Lake, Madera County, Raymond, CA. Englebright Dam and Lake, Yuba County, Smartsville, CA. Stanislaus River Parks, Stanislaus County, Knight Ferry, CA. The Contractor shall also provide venMobile software, cellular connectivity, and PCI compliance for all venMobiles (handhelds) at: Martis Creek Dam and Lake, Placer County, Truckee, CA. This will be awarded on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(d)(1)(B), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A) -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) is 561621 – Security Systems Services. The size standard is $22 Million. In accordance with FAR 36.204(e), the magnitude of effort is Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation package is available and telephone inquiries will not be honored. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source action; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government’s requirement received by no later than 28 September at 1:00PM Pacific Time Zone will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
