MOTCO Rail 1 Repair The Government anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for MOTCO Rail 1 Repair. Project Description: The work includes reconstruction of multiple rail curves to reduce curvature, open-deck bridge tie, catwalk, and handrail replacement, associated grading and roadway crossing work, and incidental related work. In accordance with FAR 36.204(g) the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $5M and $10M. This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction). The size standard $39,500,000.00. Product Service Code is Z2LB (Repair or alteration of highways, roads, streets, bridges, railways). The solicitation will proceed as unrestricted and is estimated to be issued on 5 August 2021 with bids due tentatively on 6 September 2021. The IFB will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as www.sam.gov and will establish a firm bid due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation.
