NOTE: This procurement will be issued off the NATOMAS PSL AMERICAN RIVER COMMON FEATURES (ARCF) NATOMAS BASIN REACH A LEVEE REPAIRS The Government anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for ARCF Natomas Basin Reach A Project Description: Reach A levee repairs on the Sacramento River East Levee from Gateway Oaks Drive up to Farm Road. The length of this reach is approximately 3.5 miles. The general improvements include widening the existing levee through construction of an adjacent levee and installation of approximately 2.5 miles of mix in-place cutoff wall with a depth up to 150 feet. Construct an adjacent levee or landside chimney drain for the remaining 1 mile. The work required under this contract must be completed within three construction seasons, with ultimate project completion by 30 Nov 2024. In accordance with DFARS 236.204(iii) the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $100,000,000 to $250,000,000. This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction). The size standard is $39,500,000. Product Service Code is Y1PC (Construction of Unimproved Real Property (Land). The solicitation will proceed as an unrestricted IFB against the Prequalified Sources List (PSL) for the American River Common Features (ARCF) Natomas Basin Levee Improvement Program Construction Contracts which will be established prior to solicitation. This solicitation is estimated to be issued on or about 29 Jun 2021 with bids due tentatively on or about 16 Aug 2021. The IFB will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as www.SAM.gov and will establish a firm bid due date/time. The site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation. BE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE PRE-SOLICITATION, SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS.
