The Government anticipates issuing an Invitation for bids (IFB) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for PL 84 99 Site 0412-028 Yolo Bypass Levee Repair. Project Description: The site is located on the western side of the Yolo Bypass. This landside slip is about 160 feet in length. An irrigation canal approximately 40 feet wide is located at the toe of the levee. A cross canal discharges into the main canal opposite the site. A gravel surfaced road is located on the landside/western side of the irrigation canal. Culverts run below the road. Riprap is lining the levee toe at the failure. The repair of this site will include excavation and replacement of the levee slope. The repair will also include relocation of the existing irrigation canal, cross canal and landside road approximately 60 feet landward, away from the levee toe. Localized dewatering and temporary water diversions will be required during construction. In accordance with FAR 36.204(g) the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction). The size standard is $39,500,000. Product Service Code is Y1LC (Construction of Tunnels and Subsurface Structures). The solicitation will proceed as a Small Business set-aside and is estimated to be issued around early July 2021 and bids will be tentatively due in early August 2021. The IFB will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as www.sam.gov and will establish a firm bid due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation. BE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE PRE-SOLICITATION, SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS.
