W9123819R0010 -- MOTCO Building 606 Electrical Substation Upgrade Action Code: Presolicitation Notice Class Code: Y1AZ NAICS Code: 238210 Subject: MOTCO B606 Substation Electrical Upgrade Solicitation Number: W9123819R0010 Set Aside Code: Woman Owned SB Response Date: On or about 6/27/2019 Place of Performance: 5110 Port Chicago Hwy, Concord, CA 94520 JOB DESCRIPTION: Military Ocean Terminal at Concord, CA (MOTCO) is undergoing modernization and is looking to upgrade the electrical infrastructure. This project will upgrade the existing substation to accommodate future loads at MOTCO. The existing transformer shall be demolished and replaced with a new larger capacity transformer to accommodate the maximum future electrical load at MOTCO. Upgrade the existing switchgear by modifying it or replacing it to provide two circuits. Demolish the existing primary 4-point 15 KV junctions in the manhole and replace with an above grade 6-point junction cabinet to feed all the existing loads other than the Tidal circuit. Provide all necessary modifications to manhole and underground conduits required to accomplish moving the loads to the new above grade junction cabinet. Acquisition Information: This acquisition is proceeding as a Woman Owned set-aside. Estimated Cost Range is between ($1,000,000 $5,000,000). FAR 36.204(f) Period of Performance (POP) for Construction: 450 days. This Procurement will be conducted under PSC CODE: Y1AZ, NAICS Code: 238210. The size standard for this code is $15M.
