The due date for proposals is hereby extended to 4:30 pm on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. A Site Visit was conducted on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, resulting in the submission of the following questions. 1. Is there a water source/supply? 2. The Statement of Work requires 85,000 kWh annually, 85,000,000 (eighty-five-million) watts. Is that the Government's intent? 3. I noticed an existing solar array by the Park Office, How much did it cost, what is the system size and when was it awarded? 4. Do you have the wage decision that is required in order for us to pay the correct prevailing wages? 5. What are the PGE service specifications i.e. PGE service amps and voltage at the interconnection location? 6. If the service upgrade is required (likely), will ACOE handle the request with the utility? 7. Are there any alternative interconnection points for the PV system at the site? 8. Are there any additional specifications/preferences for automated panel washing requirement? 9. Do you have soils report for the location? 10. Page 6, Section 2.1.4 calls for an "automated cleaning system." May I please get specification or an example of product you are looking for? Generally, automated cleaning systems are for very large projects. Additionally, this requirement will be competed as a construction procurement, rather than as a commercial service procurement. The SF-1442, Solicitation, Offer and Award will be utilized. Also, the solicitation will include the required FAR and DFARS provisions and clauses as appropriate. The SF 1442 Solicitation will be posted Thursday, May 30, 2019. The due date for offers/proposals has been extended to 4:30 pm, Tuesday, June 4, 2019. The following information is provided as answers to the same numbered questions above. 1. Yes, there is a water source/supply. It is approximately 260 feet from the proposed site. The Hensley Park Maintenance Staff will install a reduced water supply line available specifically for the ground-mounted photovoltaic solar system. 2. The Statement of Work is accurate, 85,000 kWh per year. 4. General Decision Number: CA190003 01/04/2019 CA3 Questions #3 and #5-10 will be answered in a separate amendment. Construct a ground-mounted photovoltaic system capable of producing approximately 85,000 kWh annually at Hidden View Recreation Area, Hensley Lake, located at 25207 Road 407, Raymond, Madera County, CA. The ground-mounted photovoltaic solar system shall provide electricity needed to operate the Hidden View Campground, water treatment plant, fee booth and all other facilities within the Hidden View Recreation Area. The goal for this system is to add a renewable energy source to a highly used recreation area to improve energy efficiency.
