P.L. 84-99 Site 0561-31 The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for P.L. 84-99 Site 0561-31. Project Description: The site is located on the western side of the Sacramento River, north of Knights Landing, CA. Seepage and boils were observed on the landside of the levee for a distance of approximately 500 feet during high water in February 2017. The repair of this site will include construction of a new setback levee approximately 2000 feet long. The newly constructed setback levee will tie-in to the existing levee on the northern and southern ends of the site. In accordance with DFARS 236.204(i) the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction). The size standard is 39.5 million. Product Service Code is Y1LC (Construction of Tunnels and Subsurface Structures). The solicitation will proceed as a total small business set aside and is estimated to be issued on or about 24 June 2020 with proposals due tentatively on or about 5 August 2020. The RFP will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as beta.sam.gov and will establish a firm bid due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation. BE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE PRE-SOLICITATION, SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS.
