Hill Air Force Base – West and Transient Apron Paving The Government anticipates issuing a RFP with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for Hill Air Force Base – West and Transient Apron Paving. Project Description: This project will include demolition of existing concrete pavement, construction of new concrete pavement including a drainage layer and asphalt shoulder overlay, protection of existing utilities, and installation of new airfield pavement striping, aircraft mooring, and grounding points. In accordance with DFARS 236.204(ii) the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 238110 – Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors. The size standard is 16.5M. Product Service Code is Z2LA - Repair or Alteration of Airport Service Roads. The solicitation will proceed as a total small business set aside and is estimated to be issued on or about 2 July 2020 with proposals due tentatively on 3 August 2020. The RFP will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as beta.sam.gov and will establish a firm proposal due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation.
