P.L. 84-99 Site 1151-11 The Government anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for P.L. 84-99 Site 1151-11. Project Description: Site 1151-11 is located on the eastern side of the San Joaquin River south of Manteca, CA. The repair of this site will include removal of the existing emergency berm, removal of underground pipes at the toe of the levee and construction of a new seepage berm extending approximately 150 feet from the levee toe and approximately 1800 feet long. The repairs and the new berm may include but is not limited to the following materials; filter sand, geotextile fabric, drain rock, levee fill, coarse rock, or rip rap. Construction of a new aggregate surfaced road and surface drainage system will also be included in this project. In accordance with FAR 36.204(g) the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction). The size standard is 39.5 million. Product Service Code is Y1LC (Construction of Tunnels and Subsurface Structures). The solicitation will proceed as a total small business set aside and is estimated to be issued on or about 11 June 2020 with bids due tentatively on or about 14 July 2020. The IFB will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as beta.sam.gov and will establish a firm bid due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation.
