AMENDMENT 0001 - EXTEND & REVISE DAVIS BACON WAGE DETERMINATIONS 10/20/2020 TITLE OF PROJECT The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for the Utah Test and Training Range Consolidated Mission Control Center (UTTR CMCC). Project Description: A Consolidated Mission Control Center with state-of-the-art equipment is needed at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB), Utah to replace outdated and inadequate facilities. A new facility built to current Air Force standards will enable the UTTR much greater flexibility in providing air traffic control services. A new facility will also provide increased capability for the necessary post-mission test evaluation processes. The UTTR CMCC has been organized to associate important functional relationships. The Mission Control Center (MCC), Air Operations Center (AOC), and Administration Offices have been arranged near Facility Support Spaces centralized in the building's layout optimizing the functional use of the building to accomplish the mission. The building shall adhere to industry standard construction methods, applicable codes, and the Hill Air Force Base Design Guide while providing an aesthetic quality and spatial relationships that promote the well-being of personnel and the success of the mission. In accordance with DFARS 236.204(ii) the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $25M - $100M. This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 236220 -- Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The size standard is $36.5M. Product Service Code is Y1AZ - Construction of other administrative buildings and service facilities. The period of performance is currently 852 days. The solicitation is anticipated to proceed as an unrestricted competitive procurement and is estimated to be issued on or about 10 September 2020 with proposals due tentatively on or about 12 October 2020. The RFP will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as https://beta.sam.gov and will establish a firm proposal due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation.
