The contract requires furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to remove the existing Bulkhead Crane bus rail system and install a new four-bar, 500-amp aluminum bus rail system with three-phase 480V power and ground, approximately 1,400 feet per bar. The work includes associated hardware, eight new collector shoes, and electrical expansion couplings. It also involves repairing or replacing about 50 percent of the existing protective bus rail covers, supports, and associated hardware. Existing covers will be modified as necessary to provide complete coverage of the new bus rail system.
