The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, and materials to remove the existing Bulkhead Crane bus rail system. A new four-bar, 500-amp aluminum bus rail system must be furnished and installed, providing three-phase 480V power with ground, approximately 1,400 feet per bar. The work includes associated hardware, eight new collector shoes, and electrical expansion couplings. Approximately 50 percent of existing protective bus rail covers, supports, and associated hardware must be repaired or replaced, with existing covers modified as needed to ensure complete coverage of the new system.
