These specifications cover all work required to pick up, clean, inspect, rehabilitate, test, anddeliver one (1) right angle gearbox to Paint Creek Dam. The gearbox is a Litton Right Angle Gearboxwith Serial Number 3H-73650. Specifications for the gearbox are as follows: Gear Ratio is 14.5:1, RPMinput is 1155, Output Torque is 4482, HP Rating is 6.37, and the Frame is U-40. Refer to drawingnumber O16b-UPC3-52.3 and the gearbox name plate for more information. The gearbox shall be rebuiltin accordance with the manufacturer?s recommendations to for the items listed below. All work shallconform to all applicable standards including AGMA 6001-E08 and AGMA 6013-A06. The originalmanufacturer?s specifications shall be followed and documented for the required settings of bearinglaterals, gear backlash, gear tooth mesh and profiles, housing fits, housing continuity, critical dimensions,torque values, and proper operational parameters. The Contractor shall also be responsible fortransportation of the gearbox to and from their facility.
