The Government requests a clamshell bucket with rotator and hydraulics that are compatible with a Rotobec 950 Optimax SMX log loader (serial number 12391-1-1). The clamshell bucket shall have the following salient characteristics:? Existing yoke on loader requires a 1 ? inch pin for connection ? Bucket volume is to be 1 cubic yard? Rotator lifting capacity shall be a maximum of 50000 lb.? Weight shall be no more than 3300 lbs. ? Torque at relief pressure shall be 18630 lb.-in at 1450 psi ? Rotator maximum pressure shall be 5000 psi with recommended flow at 9 gpm, at this flow, will produce a speed of 25 rpm? Cylinder diameter shall be a total of 3 inches and a total of four (4).? Cylinder recommended pressures shall be 3500 psi, pressure range is 2500-4500, flow range 18-27 gpm, and no lock valves The contractor shall ensure that the existing hydraulic hookups for the clamshell bucket are also compatible with the log loader. The Contractor shall supply all materials, labor, supplies, testing, and shipping to Bluestone Dam as a complete and total package. Contractor shall also provide and include all warranties, service manuals, operator manuals, all required warning and safety decals, and supporting documentation. The log loader is mounted on a floating barge and the specs must be precise, to adhere to our Naval Architectural Design Analysis, for barge mounted machine operation.
